Following a long career in the security sector, with the last 20 years directing Platinum Security Limited, Tony Harris decided in early 2025, following some very careful consideration, to retire from the industry. As part of this process, he and the remaining Director, Darren Bowers, made the decision to place the business in the hands of Abel Alarm Company Limited, a family run firm that employs similar strong principles and first rate customer care ethos to those which Platinum Security have previously prided themselves upon. Darren, along with the team of existing engineers, joined the team in Abel South East and they continue to fulfil all of your security needs.
Abel Alarm is a privately owned company, established in 1965, and with experience in Intruder, Fire, Access, CCTV and their own Communications and Monitoring Centre, all associates of Shield Alarms are expected to benefit from this transfer of business which has resulted in increases in both manpower and technical knowledge.
