There are 3 types of Intercom System
Audio
Audio Door Entry Systems comprise of single or multiple door’s controlled by an intercom Call Station, with or without an Access Keypad., with or without an Access Keypad. A handset normally mounted within the protected premises grants access upon verified authorisation by the press of a Lock Release Button. There are many forms of Handsets available ranging from the traditional Handset with a cord, to a Wall mount flush Door Station. Completely hands free in operation and available in a range of finishes including brass & chrome. Platinum Security can design a system to suit you and your décor.
Audio & Video
Video Door Entry Systems comprise of single or multiple door’s controlled by an intercom Call Station, with or without an Access Keypad_. A Video handset normally mounted within the protected premises grants access upon verified authorisation by the press of a Lock Release Button. There are many forms of Video Handsets available ranging from the traditional Handset with a cord, to a Wall mount flush Door Video Monitor Station. Completely hands free in operation and available in a range of finishes including brass & chrome. Platinum Security can design a system to suit you and your décor.
IP Audio & Video
IP Video Door Entry Systems comprise of single or multiple door’s controlled by an intercom IP Call Station, with or without an Access Keypad. An IP Video Touch Screen grants access upon verified authorisation by the press of a Lock Release Button. Completely hands free in operation and available in a range of finishes including brass & chrome. We can design a system to suit you and your decor. Being an IP Intercom System, the Call Station can call remote locations which means access can be granted from anywhere in the world. Other features include internal room to room calling. You would have the ability to call other IP Monitor Handsets from an existing one within the premises.
Receive calls from your Video Intercom, communicate with the caller and open your vehicle gates, from anywhere in the world using a Smartphone App
Wireless Intercoms
Platinum Security can install a completely Wireless solution. Visitors call from the entrance to ring the portable handset in the home or office, announcing their arrival via a two-way conversation.
The portable handset will pick up background sounds at entrances and can be used to remotely operate up to 16 automatic systems wireless remote entry control system can be used to check entrances (open or closed) and lighting (on or off) via the handset screen – and to communicate with another handset.
Accreditation
Platinum Security are an insurance approved SSAIB accredited installer of CCTV, Alarm and Access Control.
Both NSI and SSIAB are UKAS accredited and therefore only alarm companies belonging to either of these two governing bodies can apply for a Police URN (unique reference number) for Police response.
